| Who will be the high school team to beat in 2010? I'm thinking it's between Lincoln and Washington. Although losing many seniors, Lincoln still has many dominant players. Washington, despite a mediocre record, will make up for it next year with experience. By the way does anyone know why that Steinborn kid wasn't on varsity? I watched the JV games and he went coast to coast with the ball almost every time he got it. |

| Spearfish had a solid jv and looks to be a solid contender with the young coaching staff they have. Lincoln should be up there as well. Washington won't be a contender, nor will Aberdeen. Stevens loses Zach and Logan so the Rapid Schools have nothing to offer. O'Gorman loses graber and that talented goalie so they probably won't have a good season and Yankton graduates 9 starters and are looking to rebuild from scratch...just like they did 4 years ago |

| SF Lincoln had a few immigrant players on JV last year that ran circles around most everyone. If those players come out I look for Lincoln to have a good year. Also OG JV was not bad, they will be in the middle of the pack. Pierre should be good as always. Long way off at this point. |

I agree with most of that accept Pierre. They're Varsity is losing a lot of talent that won't be replaced for a couple years |

I think Roosevelt will be a team to challenge for state, they had a young team last year and still did very.
I think Lincoln will have a good team, plus Aberdeen will challenge and I think pierre will have a solid team. |

HS soccer is a two or three team race each and every year with surprise team. Lincoln and Pierre are always at the top and will be there again this year. The team that I think will surprise people is Spearfish. _________________ I know everything there is to know about nothing! |

I think Living in The Past is this Luke Steinborn kid because there is no way he could think that kid should be on varsity |

Spain. Hands down. I don't care how close all the victory margins were, they really had the best passing. They could take Lincoln any day of the week.
David Villa, Fernando Torres, and Xabi Alonso could take on Jon Gednalski, James Landon, Ryan West, and Jake Nold |

If so I'll have to watch him.

Lets hear it fellas.
Soccer will be sanctioned next year, spread the word about the Forum and lets get some good chatter going.

Is that official? I thought it was suppose to be in 2012. They just need to sanction it and the districts that do not want to pay should just make a fee the way it is done now. Then maybe the state wide press will cover it more. I would not be too surprised if all High School athletics could end up being pay to play. |
