Cant believe more people have not mentioned Jared Hannigan. Kid is an absolute stud. State Champioin in track. Would have been All State basketball if not injured this year. Also an All Conference player in football. The guy can play and is an extremely talented athlete

Mary Wirth of Lincoln signed with SDSU. 2 time defending state champion in the high jump, plus she placed in the long jump and triple jump.

Heard that Denton Stephens from Stevens has committed to USD. Shot put and discus. He's an excellent thrower. Congrats.

Zak Prpich (Stevens) sprinter has committed to SDSU. Zak ran the 100 in 10.7 and the 200 in 22.5 as a Junior last year. Congratulations Zak.

Both Billy and Bobby Brockmueller of Brandon Valley have signed on to run cross country and track at USF.

Chad Hoffcamp sprinter RC Central signed with Black Hills State. He won State last year in the 100.

I haven't seen this posted anywhere, but Matt Dunbar, Ryan Jorgenson, Gavin Cordell, Jake Sanderson, Ashley Odegaard and Ryan Schaefer will all be competing at SDSU this year. DeHaven appears to be working hard at keeping the best track athletes within the state.
