I'd PERdict that if we would replace DV, SMV & Mobridge with maybe Parkston, Wagner & Pick anyone of about 6 teams for Mobridge's replacement.
Happens almost every yr. more reason to go to a format something like Coach mentioned earlier about a 16 team format and 4 regions with maybe 2 teams coming out of ea. regions. Sorry but only 4 maybe 5 of the correct teams made it this year. Could somebody please get it done!!!
I'd maybe drive to Aberdeen to see a field like this! |

By correct teams you mean teams that you personally feel are more deserving to be in the field? Why would you think DV is less deserving than Pine Ridge? DV beat Pine Ridge late in the regular season.
Why do you feel Parkston should be in the field? They lost a region final game to a team they were favored to beat. Should they get an automatic entry into the field of eight because they were the top rated team at the end of the regular season?
Good luck to all the teams playing this week at the Class A tourney. |

| I can see the Mobridge Girls making a run they went to sisseton and played with them. To be honest any team could win it this year. |

1st. of all I also wish all of the teams good luck have fun it's quite often a once in a lifetime experience! and the fact that it is often a once in a lifetime experience for the kids that work so hard it would sure be nice if more often teams such as your Parkston Wagner girls and boys teams like this yrs. SF Christain kids would get a more fair shake at the state tournament experience, The subject has been hashed over hundreds of times on this side and the boys side, I know that due to teams proximity to other teams that the same opportunities don't necessarily exist but when I see statistics like with the 3 teams mentioned above where these 3 played 60 reg season games between them & only 12 at the most against teams with winning records and won only 4 or 5 out of 60 of those games and are in the state tournament, like all that have discussed this prior, I too could see DV in an upset or two but so could any team you put in the tournament! something needs to change!!!! |
