Re: Big 11A Games

Milbank is probably and surprisingly the best team in the Northeast. This area and the conference are down .....not what they once were even a few years ago. They caught Madison on opening night while Madison was still figuring out how to play without the Jankes and Giles and the other seniors from ...

What are we going to do...crown a state champion out of 5 teams?
Kind of Like 11AAA and 11AA?
I was thinking the same thing. The excessive 11 man classes still pisses me off!

100% of the winning teams have some of the best players but not 100% of the best players are on 100% of the winning teams.
Where winning teams = state championship teams

Re: AA vs A - This year

This topic and your assessment ..... which I agree with ..... goes to show (IMO) that there isn't as much difference between the top of the two classes as there might have been even a few years ago. The Sioux Falls AA schools were just not nearly as dominant as in years past. My three cents: Madison...

Re: When did winning become secondary?

I was drawn to this thread ..... because of the "coca porn" ...... My three cents: The awards are NOT: best player on the best team in the state and/or best player on one of the best 8 teams in the state and/or best player on the team that won the B championship/A championship/AA championship. I don...

I would expect to see Emmit Bohle - Herreid Selby and Jharret Bloomenrhader - Highmore Harrold on one of the teams.

Re: 3 Class Shootout

The senior class in AA was WAY down this year! There were lots of senior starters on the Sioux Falls teams and the Rapid teams and not many elite/top tier players. The top Class A and B players were better.

Re: Argus Leader 1st & 2nd Top Fives

Wow, I forgot LeBrun! I would add him to my list as one of the locks. Prouty is very worthy also, as is Jordre. The Jankes would be hard to pick just one ..... which one??? And I doubt Madison would get three on the two teams (Fiegen and Janke and Janke).

Sioux Falls will not like it but they there shouldn't be any Sioux Falls schools represented. The metro area yes: with Noah Freidel and one of the Harrisburg kids: Ace Zorr and Brady Van Holland. Then you have Kailleb Walton Bland from RC Central or Connor King from Stevens, Matthew Mors from Yankto...

Re: 30 Point Mercy Rule

 We need less classes .... two would be just fine. I think the top of Class A would have competed well with the AA teams and ditto that comment for the top of Class B competing with the A teams. Why more classes? So we can let the bottom half of B have their own tournament because they will nev...

Re: Pre season Top 10 - SD Sports Buzz

I agree with Tea and SFC as 1-2 in A starting out next year. Pine Ridge has most of their team back as does STM. Both need to be considered top 10. Lennox and Winner were mentioned .... I am not sold on either one. I think Canton with Verley back would be a more trendy pick than either Winner or Len...
