Re: Hanson at Parker tonight

This should be a good one tonight. Parker is playing well this year. hanson has a sole loss. Could be a good one. Parker struggled in the second quarter and Hanson is very good (Parker didn't beat them last year). Although Parker is playing better this year than many thought they would graduating 1...

Hats off to Lemmon/McIntosh for showing some West river grit and traveling 6 hours east to play one hell of a game. Next up Viborg/Hurley.
I don't see anyone beating Viborg Hurley this year. Just too loaded with talent.

Re: 2019 A & B

In a shocking development (sarcasm) NW rolls over Ipswich easily in 3. Another entry in the "not a surprise" category, NW goes down to Bon Homme over the weekend and destroys everybody. Not losing a single set in the event. It's NW's title to lose this year in Class B. Pheasant Fan, I'm sure you no...

Re: 2019 A & B

In case you haven't noticed, Warner is way down this year. They might be down for a while. Taking a set from them this year is no big deal. NW destroyed Warner and will do the same to Ipswich. They will do that to every Class B team in the area, if not the state. They are just on another level year...

Re: 2019 A & B

Yikes.. Warner goes 2-3 last weekend, losing to Faulkton Area, Burke and Elkton-Lake Benton, and currently has a 4-5 record. Wonder if they've ever had a losing record over the past 20 years. Also a rebuilding year for Arlington at 1-13 currently. MCM also defeated Chester Area in a very tight 3-0 ...

Re: AA and A 2019

Finally some time to share what I've seen so far. Several weeks ago attended the Huron tourney. Watertown and O'G were the class of the tourney regardless of Class. SFW was missing their two big hitters (Kong and Shettnan) so that clearly impacted them. I would guess a 3 horse race in AA, but I don...

Re: 2019 A & B

Parker took down MCM in 4 last night. Yes, my Pheasants delivered. I really thought the top three were pretty much ahead of everyone else, but might be a little more even that I thought. I think the dark horse right now is Dakota Valley. Parker has some really good underclassmen that stepped up big...

2019 A & B

Well another year of VB is underway. Looks like our usual suspects in B (NW. Chester, Warner). In the A, the top three are head and shoulders above the rest (SFC, Miller, MCM). EPJ and Parker round out the top five. Pheasants with a new coaching staff and some talented underclassmen, the others look...

VH is absolutely loaded. It should be them and BH at the end.

Re: Proposed Athletic Alignments

It's a little weird that Madison is now in the same region as Wagner. I have a feeling Madison will dominate region 5 for the foreseeable future in almost everything except possibly volleyball as there are already three quality programs. Boys basketball will be a walk for them...I would have though...
