Re: Boys Basketball Signings

[quote= ************************************* Even if you wanted to go into engineering? There was nothing said previously about the academics side of school. That is a rhetorical question regarding whether your degree matches what a school can deliver for you. My statement was solely based on othe...

Re: Boys Basketball Signings

DWU and Wilber are good recruiters, but you have to wonder how they consistently sign such big classes. I know that if I was being recruited to a school with 19 freshman on the roster and 3 current commits, I may be worried about playing time and/or scholarship money. If you are a top echelon playe...

Re: 2016-17 Football Recruits

College coaches are looking for certain things in players, they talk to the coaches, teachers, friends and look at social media accounts. They also tend to remember what type of players each school/coach produces. Meaning, are these players, fundamentally sound, mentally tough, what type of scheme ...

Re: 2016-17 Football Recruits

I'm not telling anyone who to root for, but if a SD team is playing someone else I will root for them. If my hometown is playing someone I will root for them. If the USA is playing someone I will root for them. Maybe you are a transplant or a commie, who knows. ********************** Or maybe he do...

Re: Boys Basketball Signings

Vandeberg to DWU shocks me. Was he just not comfortable at Wayne St? Obviously couldn't have been due to playing time. Maybe the success DWU has had and the lack of success at Wayne played into it? Someone help me out. ******************** Maybe he wanted to shoot more? Nagy's on that team, isn't he?

Re: Boys Basketball Signings

In case anybody didn't hear about it yesterday. The new coach at USD does not think that Justin Decker fits into their plans. Justin tweeted yesterday: "I've officially sent in for my release from USD. Not something I really wanted, but I'll find a college where I "fit in"" ************************...

Re: Baseball signees

Why does no one talk about Lucas Lorenz? He has some pretty crazy numbers this year. Batting over .500 with 4 homers a bunch of doubles and a ton of triples. He has like a .750 OBP. But no one has contacted him. One of the better/best all around players in the state. What's your guys take on him? *...

Re: Matthew VandeBerg

Grayshirt means they are interested in him but have no scholarship available. He will not enroll until January following his HS graduation. Since ones eligibility clock doesn't start ticking until he enrolls at the school it actually makes him a recruit for the following year. He will be able to go...
