It was an excellent match that was mostly well-played. Harrisburg's blockers really threw Mitchell off, as evidenced by the plethora of hitting errors (out of bounds) in the fourth and fifth sets. I am already looking forward to the rematch!

Yes, they are the real deal. I have watch them play a couple of times this year and they are impressive. However, they should be. This group has been playing varsity together since they have been freshman. They have been the bottom of the barrel for the past couple of years.

I haven't seen Rapid City Stevens play yet. They are rated third and have a good record but many of their games are against A schools. Are they true contenders or just beneficiaries of a week schedule?

I really think it's time for Kelly Devine and Ms Weed to retire from officiating volleyball. Every time I see them enter the gym before a match I am disappointed as I know they won't let the match be decided on the court by the players. They blow their whistles far to often as I think they feel as the they are far superior and need people to "see" them. They've been doing it for as long as I can remember but it's time to hang the whistle up. Most refs for volleyball are really good, no ones perfect nor do I expect them to be. But Devine and Weed are just plain bad and makes matches they officiate hard to watch.

Mitchell in AA should be much more competitive this year also. A team that's been real young but now are upperclassmen and have solid varsity experience.
Wow is that a swing and miss :D don't worry Voltaire I picked Tulare to beat sully in regions and couple of years ago too, kind of looking at potential sweet 16 and seeing Kadoka schedule I see they beat both Oelrichs and Takini 25-0 25-0 25-0 on same day. Did that actually happen??? Hard to believe nobody hit a serve in the net in 150 attempts

Yep, it's a swing and a miss. i had to inquire as to what went wrong. I learned their libero who is very good went down with a knee injury and their senior 6 footer MH tore a stomach muscle. Either way still a swing and miss.
