Who is signing where? Here are a couple of announcements:

Incoming signees Darin Peterka (Miller, S.D.), Mack Arvidson (Grand Forks, N.D.), Brady and Brian Maxwell (Mitchell, S.D.) and Zach Kraning (Viborg, S.D.) have announced their intention to enroll in classes at NSU and join the Wolves' basketball program for the 2012-13 season.

Just read on "nebraskaonline" where Pierre's Zach Hanson has offers from the following colleges:

Arizona St.
Creighton
Drake
Gonzaga
Nebraska
Northern Iowa
South Dakota
South Dakota St.

There are others that are interested but have not made an offer yet.

According to Joey Habtemariam's twitter feed, he has committed to Northwestern College.

Eric Hensch of STM is going to play at Pomona College in Claremont, CA. A DIII school. Going there basically because of academics but will play BB too.

Congratulations to Eric!

The 7 Claremont Colleges (one of which is Pomona) are among the top schools in the country.
If on the East Coast would be Ivy league.

BTW, in traditional termsw, colleges are "divisions - or subdivisions if you will, of universities.
The 7 colleges together essentially comprise the Claremont University.

I know Eric personally. Coached him at one time. He loves basketball, but academics are more important to him. He sees the bigger picture. 35 on his ACT. I think he wants to be a doctor of some kind.

So, I can say very comfortably that going to school at STM was first for academics, second for basketball.

Wasn't there a big forum about his transfer tho? If i remember right it was his transfer that sparked back up the STM recruiting yada yada yada...I can't remember if I said anything at the time because I knew nothing about him or his transfer but i do remember him getting bashed on it and however many years later this would settle that argument. For what it's worth, I watched him play 4 times in the last 2 years and the kid can def play, I liked him better then Mr Basketball at the games i watched!

So there was a thread about him transferring to STM.

Ok. There was also part of that discussion....and I was in on it, because I knew more than most people did about what was going on...as to the reasons why.

People like you who only see kids transferring to private schools scream recruiting...even though in your own backyard a steady stream of kids who aren't from White River do the exact same thing.

I said at the time one of many reasons why Eric went to STM was for academics.

But people don't believe that when it comes to STM or an O'Gorman if that is the reason...but ignore it when it happens at a White River.

You really have a thing against White River don't you? Please tell me when I have said anything about what the hell your talking about? A kid transfering from Sioux Falls to STM is of a recruiting effort then anything going on in White River, we just have some ignorant old people who like to Bicker about White River winning. If i had a dollar for every one of your posts i'd buy you the biggest trophy ever!

That's not refuting the assertion.
