2018 High School Baseball

Postby OgieOglethorpe » December 26th, 2017, 12:19 pm

Sorry, I can't wait!!!

Who are the teams to watch this year?

Who are the players to watch this year?

State A State Champs?

State B State Champs?

In favor of the Power Points rule change? I never was in favor of the Region Sites being pre-determined. If you earn a top spot, you should earn a home game!

In HS baseball, pitching takes center stage due to wood bats and cold weather. With that in mind, in Class A you probably need to focus on SF Washington with Alex Bertram leading the staff, along with last year's champ, SF Roosevelt and Gus Radel. Pierre will probably also be in the mix thanks to their ace, Peyton Zabel.

Yes, RHS beat them in the Semi Finals last year. Actually, Zabel was on the mound against Radel. RHS won 4 to 0.

Let's get this board going as the snow is starting to melt and first games are less than a month away.

What impact will the new power point format have on the state tourney? Who will be good this year? Who will be down? Let's talk baseball!
